In alignment with Strategic Plan Goal B, Objective 2: Continue efforts to build and implement MTSS district-wide.

October is Bullying Prevention Month. Last week, Coronita Elementary School Counselor, Ms. Villalobos, visited every TK-6th grade classroom at her school to give bullying prevention guidance lesson. Students sang an bullying prevention songs and recited the pledge "We are a Free Bully Zone School". 

Coronita Elementary partnered with Corona High School for a mentorship program. Corona High Athletes mentor Coronita student. They visit the Coronita campus on a monthly basis to play sports with students. The lives of all the students participating, both from the high school and elementary, are enriched by this fellowship and collaboration. 

In addition, Coronita Elementary has also been focusing on attendance and college & career readiness. They hosted their college kick-off event where Corona High brought over their CTE program and students had an opportunity to indulge in the many gadgets and demonstrations.
