CNUSD Launches Red Rover – A New Substitute Management System
Effective July 1, 2025, CNUSD is excited to announce the official launch of Red Rover, our new platform for managing substitute assignments. This upgrade replaces the Aesop/Frontline system (which was deactivated on Monday, June 30).

To get started, please review the Red Rover Quick Start Guide, which includes step-by-step instructions and a helpful tutorial video (you must log into Red Rover to access the help center).

For July 2025, if you need to use sick leave, please call your HR Technician directly to report your absence.

If you need to reset your district email password, we've got you covered! Use this guide to log back into your account.

If you are on a custom calendar, absences will not be recorded in the substitute management system - Red Rover. Your new platform to report an absence or non-duty day, will eventually be UKG Ready, more info here.

Absences reported for the month of July 2025 in Aesop/Frontline will be transferred to Red Rover. We will make every effort to retain the substitute who has accepted your assignment.

If you proactively entered an absence into Aesop/Frontline for day(s) after July 31, 2025, you will need to re-enter the absence(s) into Red Rover.
